Members of the Clinical Audit Support Centre have an excellent track record for publishing their work in academic journals. We believe that as clinical audit professionals we have an obligation to share best practice with our colleagues. In 2003, Stephen’s document Learning from Clinical Governance Reviews was published after overwhelming interest was received via the Natpact forum. Both Stephen and Tracy were involved in the development of A Practical Guide for Clinical Audit – published by the Clinical Governance Support Team in 2005. We also contributed to the revised edition of Principles for Best Practice in Clinical Audit, published in January 2011. Full details of our work that has been published are detailed below.

New Principles of Best Practice in Clinical Audit by Robin Burgess. Published by Radcliffe Publishing Ltd. ISBN-10: 1846192218. Chapters 2-5 were written by CASC team members Ruthven T, Ashmore S and Hazelwood L.
